A First Watch
Just like the first movie, I feel like the real emotion of this movie was lot for me because I know that Spock isn't gone forever. Just like I never saw Star Wars without knowing that Vader was Luke's father. I imagine I honestly would have cried if I had been a Star Trek fan and thought that Spock was gone forever.
I really enjoyed this movie. I think that like the first movie though it didn't really give a full package. The first movie had a really great plot idea, but failed to deliver a really good movie. It was essentially a rehashing of a TOS episode. This second movie I feel like was a really good movie despite a kind of stupid and simple plot. It also was essentially an extended episode. Maybe this is what I should grow to expect from Star Trek movies. Extended episodes.
Despite that, I must say again, I really enjoyed the movie!
